SFS installation scope

Sequenced Contracting considers steel framing system installation and associated boarding and insulation packages. Provide the specified system, approved installation drawings, elevations, opening details and package boundaries. Installation is scoped against the project design; design responsibility must be agreed separately with the responsible project team.

Work fronts, access and deliveries

Identify floor release dates, survey readiness, slab-edge conditions, lifting and access arrangements, storage and material distribution. These affect how many installers can work productively and when each elevation can progress. Labour requirements are reviewed against scope, programme and availability.

Interfaces with external masonry and interiors

Where suitable, SFS can be coordinated with brickwork, insulation and follow-on drylining. Agree tolerances, inspection points and handover responsibilities before covering work. External masonry and internal work may overlap in different areas; a single fixed sequence is not assumed.

Send SFS drawings for review

Send system details, quantities, project location, proposed dates and access information. Confirm who supplies materials, fixings, plant and access equipment. Individual SFS gangs, labour-only arrangements and defined subcontract packages can be considered.
